Terra Classic operates as a blockchain protocol utilizing fiat-pegged stablecoins for stable, global
payment systems. Following the UST/Luna collapse in May 2022, LUNA Classic (LUNC) emerged as the remnant
of the original Terra LUNA coin, leading to the creation of a new Terra chain.
The Terra Classic blockchain validates transactions using a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism,
with 100 validators facilitating network consensus, influenced by the amount of LUNC staked per node.
In the aftermath, the Terra Classic community rallied to rejuvenate and sustain the LUNC ecosystem,
emphasizing restoration efforts to it's recovery.
